Libyan ISIS chiefs are fearful of being take out by a mysterious sniper, who has already killed three high-profile figures in the terrorist group. The terrorists are scrambling to find out who he is.
According to The Telegraph report, someone with sniper-level skills has killed three ISIS commanders over the course of weeks. Reports indicate that the mystery killer has unnerved the ISIS fighters of the caliphate. The terrorists are in an uproar to bring down the sniper.
The killings started since Jan 13, and now has made ISIS fearing someone is on a mission to hunt them down. This fear is more evident when they started carrying out arrests and executions in the town, The Telegraph reports.
A witness told the news website Al-Wasat that IS are currently in “a state of terror… They randomly shot in the air to scare inhabitants, while searching for the sniper.”
According to the reports, the hunter is locally-trained and become who he/she is today during the uprising against Libya’s last dictator, Moammar Gaddafi. The reports also includes that the mysterious sniper is the same individual who had wreaked havoc among those still loyal to Gaddafi in Tripoli.

Sirte has been under terrorist control since the summer of 2015. Local intelligence sources say the number of fighters stationed there now could be as high as 2,000.
Several things appear to worry IS. One is that public floggings and executions cannot take care of a long-range threat, such as a sniper. Secondly, this kind of thing could embolden the local population, which is opposite to the effect the terrorists are trying to achieve.
Evidence of this could be gleaned from the public reaction following the killing of Hamad Abdel Hadi – a Sudanese IS official, who had been exiting the group has converted Sharia court and killed from long range on January 13. He was the first kill.
The other two kills were military higher-ups.
There’s few information available about the new caliphate and almost no information about the mysterious sniper, but whoever the shooter is, they should know that how many people are pulling for them every time they pull the trigger.
